Where is Breaffy House?
Breaffy House Resort is located just 3km outside Castlebar, Co. Mayo in the West of Ireland. Breaffy House Resort is made up of two hotels; 4-star Breaffy House Hotel and 3-star Breaffy Woods Hotel. What time is check-in and check out?
Check-in is from 3pm and Check out is 12noon.
What time is breakfast?
Breakfast is served week days from 7.30am to 10.30am and until 11am on Saturdays and Sundays. Subject to seasonal changes.
Is there free parking at the hotel?
Yes we have 400 marked spaces and Electric Charging points beside the Health Club
Do you offer room service?
Yes, we offer room service at Breaffy House Hotel. There is an additional charge of €7pp for room service for Breakfast.
Are there any leisure facilities at the hotel?
Yes, we have an award-winning gym and 20-meter indoor heated pool. Our Health Club also boasts a steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi.
What time is the Health Club open at?
Monday – Friday 7am – 8.45pm. Subject to seasonal changes. | Saturday & Sunday 8am – 7.45pm Under 16’s 9am – 7.30pm daily
Do we have to bring our own towels and swimming hats?
Towels are provided for guests at the Health Club. You must wear a swimming hat in the pool. There are hats available for purchase in the Health Club. Locks are available to hire for a €5 refundable deposit at the Health Club.
Are there any Bar’s or Restaurants on the Resort?
Healy Mac’s Bar at Breaffy House Hotel serves food daily from 12:30 to 9.30pm. The Mulberry Restaurant is open for evening meals from 6pm – 9.30pm. Times may alter in off-season times.
How do I make a reservation?
5 days before you arrive, you will get the pre-arrival email with links to book The Mulberry Restaurant. Alternatively you can call the hotel to book on 094 90 22033 if you intend to dine on the evening of your check-in. We do not take bookings for Healy Macs Bar, it is on a first come first served basis.
Are there any kid’s facilities on the Resort?
We have a playgroud, crazy golf, fairy village, forest trails and woodland walkways eg. The Cottage Trail, Jogging Trail, 2km walking route, astro turf/tennis court (bring you own rackets and balls) and football pitch on the Resort.
Are there fridges in all the rooms?
No, we do not have a fridge in every room. You can request one at the time of booking but there is no guarantee that one will be available. Any medications can be kept in one of our fridges at the hotel. Please ensure it is kept in a sealed bag with your room number and contact details clearly written on it.
Is there WIFI on the Resort?
Yes, there is an open wifi network.
Do kids stay free?
Children under 3 stay free. We supply travel cots free of charge. There is no mattress base in the travel cot, we will supply a pillow and sheets. Children 3 years to 15 years are charged and matched to their parents package.
Is there a laundry service on-site?
We offer a laundry service through a third party based locally. Clothes you want washed or dry cleaned can be left at the Reception Desk early and can be returned on the same day. Monday to Saturday service.
What are the Spa opening times?
Monday – Wednesday 10am – 6pm | Thursday & Friday 10am – 7pm | Saturday 10am – 6pm | Sunday 10am – 5pm (seasonal)
Do I need to pre-book a treatment?
It is advised that you book ahead of time ( 2 weeks is preferable) for treatments as we cannot guarantee availability. Please call the Spa @ Breaffy Team on 094 90 44160 for more information.
Do you accept Vouchers/Gift Cards?
We accept the below gift cards: One4All (please be aware of the value on your card). We also accept Select Hotels of Ireland Gift Cards but you must book directly with Select Hotels to redeem them.
Do you sell gift vouchers?
Yes, Vouchers are available to purchase on our Vouchers
What is your policy on Tips/Gratuities?
All Tips and Gratuities (and Service Charges) collected by electronic means are distributed to employees in a manner that has been agreed with employees. Breaffy House Resort shares the full amount among all employees equally based on number of hours worked.
